  • Special type of biphasic delta wave with a duration of 1-3 sec
  • Saw-tooth or zed shape (hence the name ‘zeta waves’)


Clinical relevance

  • Severe brain lesions, usually with an acute or subacute onset and a space occupying character (e.g. contusion, hemorrhage, infarction, tumor)
