Zeta waves

- Special type of biphasic delta wave with a duration of 1-3 sec
- Saw-tooth or zed shape (hence the name ‘zeta waves’)
Clinical relevance
- Severe brain lesions, usually with an acute or subacute onset and a space occupying character (e.g. contusion, hemorrhage, infarction, tumor)
