Polyspikes slow wave complex

  • Same as Spike slow wave complex, however with 2 or more spikes associated with the slow wave
  • Usually the slow wave is of higher amplitude than the spike
  • Spike:
    • Clearly distinguishable from background activity
    • Sharp peak at conventional paper speeds (i.e. 30 mm/sec)
    • Duration of 20-70 ms
